This is just a quick note to let you know about the very thoughtful actions of one of your employees, Clayton. My sister and I recently flew up to Kaitaia to attend the funeral of our aunt,Dorothy Wild, and rented a car from you. While we were returning back to Auckland my sister noticed that she had lost a family treasure, a very old broach belonging to our mother,whom had also recently passed away. We were devastated and rang Northland rentals as well as every other place we had visited. We also put an ad in the local paper.A week or so passed and we heard nothing until Clayton called to say he had seen the ad in the paper and had remembered seeing the broach in a drawer in the office. He immediately couriered it to us in Auckland. He has refused a reward that we wanted to give to him, and he sent an email just saying he never expected anything for his actions and what goes round comes round.
We just want to pass on to you that you are very fortunate having such a kind hearted employee and hope that his actions don’t go unnoticed.
